It's a shoe that's been pumped full of PUMA's cutting-edge, race-day tech and superfoams, but presented in a package with steadier, more accessible geometries than its Fast-R series brethren provide.
In the midfoot, PUMA has loaded the Nitro Elite 4 with modified durometers of their fastest, most innovative NITROFOAM ELITE compound. Perfect for maximal energy return, it's the same superfoam that PUMA uses in their other tip-of-the-spear racer, the Fast-R 3. This foam works together with the modified carbon PWRPLATE and racing geometries to optimize propulsion, efficiency, and ultimately, performance while remaining incredibly light.
The outsole sees a slight rearrangement of sticky PUMAGRIP rubber, but still provides all the traction you need for your road races. The shoe utilizes a premium, lightweight ULTRAWEAVE upper, which has been reinforced with PWRTAPE technology. It ensures a snug, trustworthy lockdown for any foot before opening up for just enough room in the toe box to avoid issues.
