ONLY QUALITY WILL DO

Ready to upgrade your bottom bracket? Kogel BSA Threaded Ceramic Bottom Brackets have you covered. These Ceramic BBs will fit any specified crankset on a classic threaded shell with options for on or off-road bikes.

Even new bikes with new high-end drivetrains can, and usually do, ship with bottom brackets using steel bearings. Even if perfectly maintained, those steel bearings just won't roll as smoothly or efficiently as ceramic bearings.

Kogel Ceramic Bearings are:

  • More symmetrical (i.e. round) and built to stricter tolerances than steel bearings
  • More efficient for power transfer than standard bearings
  • And, won't deform, flat-spot, crack or get pitted

Choose road bearings for road bikes, cross bearings for mountain bike, gravel and cyclocross or if you frequently ride your road bike on wet roads.

SRAM DUB BBs require Park Tool BBT-79 or similar 12-notch, 45mm tools. Shimano BBs require BBT-9 or similar 16-notch, 44mm tools.

FEATURES:

  • Guaranteed Performance Warranty, so you can feel confident and secure about your next two seasons of riding.
  • Choose "cross" seals for optimal balance of durability and ceramic efficiency
  • Choose "road" seals for even better efficiency
  • Options for Shimano, SRAM DUB, or GXP cranks.
  • Pain-free installation for any crank, any frame, with no adapters required
  • BB Boost® technology. Placing the bearings as close to the crank arms as possible for increased stiffness and durability
  • Serviceable bearings and seal kits so you can easily access and service your bottom bracket
  • Bottom bracket cups that cover the internal side of the bearings to protect them from damage during removal
  • Top-tier grade 3 ceramic balls for the best ball quality you can get (Ball grade rates the roundness of the ball)
  • ABEC 5 bearing tolerance for the best support in a cycling application
  • Hardened steel races that won't deform over time
  • Races polished to a mirror finish to guarantee the balls run on a smooth surface
